🧂 Ingredients
- 1 kg chicken (cut into pieces)
- 2 cups basmati rice
- 1 cup yogurt
- 2 onions (sliced)
- 2 tomatoes (chopped)
- 2 tbsp biryani masala
- 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
- ½ cup oil
- Salt to taste
- Fresh coriander and mint (for garnish)
👩🍳 Instructions
- Wash and soak rice for 30 minutes.
- In a pot, heat oil and fry onions until golden brown.
- Add chicken, ginger garlic paste, and cook until it changes color.
- Add tomatoes, yogurt, salt, and biryani masala. Cook until oil separates.
- In a separate pot, boil rice until 80% cooked and drain.
- Layer rice over the chicken masala, garnish with mint and coriander.
- Cover and cook on low flame (dum) for 15–20 minutes.
- Fluff gently and serve hot with raita or salad.
