Chicken Biryani

A rich and aromatic rice dish layered with flavorful chicken masala and basmati rice. A true South Asian classic!

👩‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Wash and soak rice for 30 minutes.
  2. In a pot, heat oil and fry onions until golden brown.
  3. Add chicken, ginger garlic paste, and cook until it changes color.
  4. Add tomatoes, yogurt, salt, and biryani masala. Cook until oil separates.
  5. In a separate pot, boil rice until 80% cooked and drain.
  6. Layer rice over the chicken masala, garnish with mint and coriander.
  7. Cover and cook on low flame (dum) for 15–20 minutes.
  8. Fluff gently and serve hot with raita or salad.
